60 more freelancers got initiation into entrepreneurship from BACCO
Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) initiated 3 batches and 60 more freelancers to become entrepreneurs. This training is provided with the support of Business Promotion Council (BPC).
BACCO vice-president Tanveer Ibrahim handed over certificates to the trainees at a conference room in the capital on Wednesday in the afternoon. The participants expressed various experiences of receiving training.
BACCO Executive Director Lt. Col. (Retd.) Md. Mahtabul Haque congratulated all the trainees in a video message.
In the speech of the chief guest, Tanveer Ibrahim said, "With the help of Business Promotion Council, we have successfully completed this training program to become a freelancer and entrepreneur three times in a row, including this year. 106 people in 10 batches in 2022, 90 people in 6 batches in 2023, and 60 people in 3 batches this year, totaling 256 freelancers. In this long journey, the names of new entrepreneurs have been gradually added one after another, all of whom have once provided services to international customers on various online platforms, and later made their debut as entrepreneurs in this wide-ranging field of information technology by taking training in our program. We hope to get many more entrepreneurs from among those who have received the training this year. To the trainees, it is true that you are receiving the official certificate today after completing the training, but your journey with BACCO does not end here. BACCO will support talented freelancers like you in becoming entrepreneurs through appropriate training and further supporting business expansion in the future as well”.
Among others who spoke were BACCO Director Mehdi Hasan Zulfikar, Emrajina Technologies Founder Emrajina Islam, Vizer X Limited Chief Executive Officer Mr. Faisal Mostafa, Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society Chairman Dr. Tanjiba Rahman, and Business Promotion Council Assistant Director Mr. Md. Faisal Khan.
For the past three years, BACCO and BPC have been implementing a training program titled "Freelancer to Entrepreneur" with different themes in mind. This year's theme was “Together We Go Further”.
